how can I remove rabbit ticks from my cats ears and head? any treatment available to keep them from latching on .? He catches a rabbit everyday, so any suggestions most welcome

Dab some oil on them, ie olive oil or cooking oil not engine oil, ticks / tics should fall off within 24 hours.

Frontline spray will keep them at bay, only available from your vet.

what do you do with the rabbit?
boil it or stew it?

If your vet offers you the frontline spot on, ask for the spray instead as it deals with the ticks better.
