The Queen and the law

Apparently the Queen is above the law and so she cannot be sued or arrested-so what happens if she does commit a criminal act.If Her Majesty were to run down the road,bop an old lady on the head with a brick and nick her handbag-would I be able to performa citizen's arrest on her? Would the victim be able to take any action?

No action performed by the monarch is illegal by definition. So she is perfectly entitled to do as described with no comeback. You would be arrested for treason and be locked up in the Tower.

Unless it gets to the stage where parliament decides to chop her head off.....
