Flying Bus & Stranded on an Island - Kids TV

No one seems to remember these 2 kids programs when I ask anyone, so any help would be great.
The first program is about a flying bus that takes children on adventures. Its live action and was on in the 80's on Thames or Channel 4. The only episode I can remember is where the bus crashed in a forest or jungle and they needed water to survive and take off again - one of the kids on the bus did a rain dance and it started to rain?!?
The second one was another kids program about a bunch of kids that were stranded on an island. I can't remember all the details, but there was a kid on a yacht who knew they were there but kept on being drugged as everyone thought she was sick... The only part of the theme tune I remember was something like:

This is our island all our own
With lots of trees and lots of flowers
We found it at the crack of dawn
And ever since it's been out own

Possibly the bus one - never saw it so couldn't say, but it had a flying bus and live action from what I can see.

The one with the kids on an Island could be the lost islands, I bought the DVD's for my husdand at christmas. It is about a boat that collects kids from all different countries but then there is a storm and 5 are left on the ship and become shipwrecked on an island.

Hey julieb, thanks for your input.
I was actually searching for the information today (and to make sure i wasnt going mad!) and found out what it was.

It was called Childrens Island and It's set during World War 2 when some British children are invited to live in the United States by the President's son.

However, the ship they are traveling on is attacked by a U-Boat and sunk. The authorities believe they have all drowned, but several children survive the attack and eventually find themselves stranded on a small island.

The series consists of them living on the island and having to deal with their situation (and some hostile monkeys).

All the while they are there, the President's son never gives up hope that they have survived. In one episode a fighter plane crash lands on the island and the children use the plane's radio to try and get help. However the only person to hear their mayday is the President's son himself, who happened to be on a yacht at the time. People think the Presiden't son is delusional and he is then sedated.
