Looking for information on news piece I saw about children who were locked in an attic?

I remember watching an interview on television with a woman who had either written a book or set up an organization for survivors of child abuse. Her story was about her, and other children, who she was not related to, aged between 2 and 16, being kept in an attic or a room, and only brought out to be abused.

Can anyone help me find any information on this?

Is it a British news story or USA? Cant see anything on google

I'm pretty sure it was in the UK. It was either This Morning or something similar, and the woman couldn't go into too much detail because of the time the interview was being shown.

The woman was one of the eldest there, and had to almost "mother" the younger children.
