Car stereo will not turn off

My factory fitted stereo suddenly wouldn't change stations and when my journey finished it would not turn off. Even removing the ignition key failed to stop it. To save the battery I have removed the fuse but it also seems to be the fuse that causes the locking buttons to go up and down. The alarm sets, but the buttons don''t go down so obviously it is not secure. I can do without a radio but not without locked doors.

Help much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you tried putting the fuse back to see if the radio has been cured by having the power removed?

Most things in the world these days are cured by switching the power off and on again.

(oh dear, you have got the radio security code haven't you?)
