mot hazard lights
3 Answers
My volvo v 40 has failed its mot over a number of issues all fair & correct, but there was a failure due to faded colour of hazards which look perfectly normal and fine to me. Has anyone ever been stopped by police for this before ? or am i being taken for a ride? / mot garage being very picky?

MOT is very strict and usually fair, but it's all down to the individual tester in the end. what one would pass, another would fail.
Anyway, arn't hazzard lights your indicator lights? These do have to be the perfect colour.

Thank you very much for your comments, It was more that i would find it hard to believe the police would see someone's hazards on and then investigate and book them for having a very slightly lighter colour of hazards. I would find that proof definitive that the nanny state's priorities for our police force is slightly out of kilter if compared to the demands of the public!
