Will my 17" CRT work with a Mac Mini?
2 Answers
I'm planning of getting a Mac Mini with some money I shall be recieving soon. But, I've heard that Mac Mini's have problems with some monitors, and I was wondering if mine was one of them.
I have an "LJD Digital Security Ltd" 17" CRT monitor. Will this work with the Mac?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

http://www.apple.com/macmini/specs.html
It states this:-
VGA video output (using included adapter) to support analog resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 pixels
So your 17" monitor should work fine as they support resolutions well below the above resolution. Hope this helps.

I have a MacMini and have used it with a 17",19" and 21" CRT monitor.
The one thing that can be a little annoying is that if you don't turn the monitor on during the boot process the resolution gets a bit messed up. Not use if this is to do with my monitor or the mac, but my Windows PC boots fine.
Not a big problem however.
