Can anyone explain why one can't get a TV Remote with a ZOOM facility as you get with a Dvd player remote i sent an email to Sky but haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement of it! Usual i suppose sign you up and take your monthly rental. Really would like a useful reply one way or the other.Thankyou in advance

I have a ZOOM facility on remote contol supplied with my
Dvd player,i stress DVD player NOT TV REMOTE iCAN LET YOU KNOW THE MAKE OF Dvd PLAYER on Tuesday am using Public internet provided by my local Library which wont reopen until Tuesday

hi Craft I have a Philips DVD recorder and there is no Zoom on the remote

My dvd has a zoom function.
My Panasonic plasma also has a limited zoom functionality under the 'aspect' button. It allows me to change the ratio, or select Zoom 1 or Zoom 2.
I don't know why you expect Sky to know about it. It is your television, not your programme supplier, that affects zoom.

tv and dvds are completely different things

a dvd player playing one dvd is a lot less complicated than a tv having to navigate a gazillion channels and signals

lol I dont either (I have a zoom on my cheapo dvd player), its a bit like these people that spend over the odds for a mobile phone with all these features then never use them!
