Please help i was at the wrong place at the wrong time

Please Help.. I drove 2 of my friends to my school b4 it open because they were telling me how all da seniors was going to be there because we were raising seniors. So I taught nothing of it and went with them, and at 1st things appeared cool. Then people started spray painting the floors and the school with spray paint(They were doing there senior prank). I kept telling my friends lets leave but they were making fun on me, so I stayed a little bit longer. Then the cops arrived and in a panic and i drove off with my friends in the car.

I am so scared because I didn't know this was going to happen and I was on the school camera. However I didn't spray paint anything because I was scared so stayed by my car basically the whole time.(But I believe the camera caught me walking to the other school parking lot)

I don't know what to do, should I go to the principal and tell them before they catch me or should I just pray that they won't take any serious action.
How much trouble will I be in, will i go to jail, will i be able to walk 4 graduation? ;(

I do feel sorry for you as you appear to have not got there intent on damage. Unfortunately many of these kinds of pranks do end badly because the responsibility falls to the level of the lowest participant. This spells disaster when the class clowns try to out do each other.

Where spray painting is involved it is likey to have left quite a bit of forensic evidence such as shoeprints on the scene and paint on the perpetrators and their clothing.

Odds are the teachers will guess the likely culprits and the police will be looking for that evidence on them. If one of them cracks and gives up the names you will be included.

You appear to be saying it was your car. This makes it much worse. Even if you didn't participate in the vandalism you drove them to and from the school and are an accessory to the crime.

Some schools would expell you, making it very difficult for your graduation. I hope you are still too young to be charged as an adult. You could be eligible for a criminal record and this may come against you in life.

You should talk to your parents about it ASAP and hope they can make the best of a bad situation. They should arrange some legal advice.

Is there not a teacher that you can approach? If they've got your car on CCTV, you might as well come clean. As you didn't participate in any of the vandalism, it would look better for you to approach them before they approach you.
