2003 renault clio

is there a problem with renault clio drivers seat air bag going of for no reason as this happened on my daughters driving test and had to be void she did not hit any pot holes or kerbs as renault are trying to suggest

i have never heard of air bag going of no reason but there is a problem with seat connectors there are two air bag pre tensiner wires that run under the seat and go to a connector in the middle of the seat and what normally hapens is that it brings on the light and what the dealer has to do is cut the wires and soilder them together getting rid of the connector.
