If you're really on-the-ball, keeping dates and ensuring you know exactly what to do when, then I don't think you'll have too much problem claiming it. I know I've tried to claim cash back on several occasions, and every time the company has come back to me stating that I've done something wrong... Even when all I was s'posed to do was send my phone bill after 3 months, which I did, they still managed to come back to me saying that I'd got the claim-time wrong.
Good luck ;o)
No, in the end I lost interest - cashback was only 30 and I was wasting more time than made it worth while! It is annoying because it should be easy - in fact, it should be automatic - if you're buying a phone, on a contract, could they not contact the network provider after 3 months (or whatever) to verify that you are still with them, and then credit you with the beans?
Oh well, maybe I'll succeed next time!!!
Wow - I take it all back - on Saturday, I recieved a letter in the post - my cashback had arrived!!! It's very odd because when I sent my claim form and copy of bill, they sent it back saying that I'd applied at the wrong time and that I should refer to the documents that came with the phone. I gave up at that point because I was tired!! I did nothing else, and they sent the money to me anyway? Perhaps they've been reading AB?!!!
Hurrah!
