Why do I not fancy Brad Pitt?

I think that Matt Damon is extremely gorgeous, handsome and attractive.  Objectively, Brad Pitt is very similar in terms of physical appearance and attractiveness.  But I have never fancied Brad Pitt at all, not even slightly.  Why not?

I don't fancy Brad Pitt either and never have done. Nor Matt Damon. I don't fancy David Beckham either.

Now Christopher Eccleston - that's a different matter - strange taste in men me.

You have me intrigued - whats the latest thing he did?

Have you seen Brad in "Legends of the Fall" or "A River Runs Through It"? He has a special aura about him, a gentleness combined with masculinity, very caring but also tough. He is down to earth, sweet, gorgeous and talented. Genetically or whatever you aren't suited, which leaves more for me. Matt is a good actor but average in the looks department. I love Brad's golden hair and his sensual pink lips.

I understand the attraction, but, like the rest of you, I'm not attracted to Brad Pitt. The same applies to many stereotyped hunks like Becks and Matt. The only famous people I've found myself uncontrallably drawn to is Duncan James (from Blue) and Jake Gyllenhaal :D Ah, just his name makes me feel all happy lol! 

Coincidentally I'd like to ask something to fellow answerbank members: is it true that one is attracted more to a person who has similar attributes to them? I read it somewhere and I'm not sure if it's true or not. I think I'm quite geeky and also find (slightly) nerdy types attractive...

yes I have heard it said that you are attracted to people who not necessarily look like you, but who have similar shaped features/attributes.  Which could also be why people say you're attracted to those who look like your dad (mum if you're a boy) I guess if you've inherited their features this will be true.  Maybe its because of familiarity of features, it provides comfort and a safe feeling when you look at them.

Apparently Brad and Jen were very well suited because she has quite a masculine face (not meant in a derogatory way but she does - she's not all round face cutesy!) which mirrored his very masculine features, hence the attraction.  This added to their golden couple status. (I really need to lay off heat magazine!)

Personally I'm a brad pitt fan all the way - sorry matt fans - I find brad a lot more masculine which is my personal preference!
