Antibiotics for adult acne
3 Answers
I have been prescribed Erythomycin stearate antibiotics for my spots today. I'm so fed up with them. Has anyone taken these? How long did it take to see a difference? Won't they just come straight back when I've finished the months course?
Also, can I drink with them? Usually it says not to with antibiotics but I never thought to ask the Doctor.
Thanks.

ethandron, no its not nice at all. And I think people often think that you're making a fuss over nothing. Its not an illness after all. But, they are awful big hot spots too. When you are young your skin can recover but I'm sure I'm going to have awful scarring now. I will see how I go with these then for the month then I have to go back anyway. I suppose he will discuss something longer term then.
