what can i do with all the seed pods on my sweet peas?

Let them ripen until brown and then open them up and keep the seeds until next year to sow again. S`easy.
The porblem with saving your own seed is that the flowers will not be of the same quality as this year (less blooms per stalk)
the pods look like normal peapods, aren't they edible.
No, sweet pea pods are definitely NOT edible. If you don't want to sow them in your garden in spring, either direct into the soil or in pots, you could sprinkle them on any spare earth on footpaths near you so that passers by can enjoy some sweet scented flowers scrambling everywhere as they pass by.
