Where are AB Ed,Spare Ed,and any Techies?

In all the kerfuffle with the change (unannounced) to AB and it's layout,you might have expected AB Ed & Spare Ed to be here and be soothing frayed nerves (lots) and sorting out problems (lots) and generally reassuring ABer's that all would (very soon) be well.
Why was I not surprised by the absence of any of the above!
If you look in AB Editor's Blog,the old AB Ed's blogs have disappeared,and no new one is forthcoming,not even an announcement about these changes.
It make me think that some anonymous techie has just pressed a button and gone home?

It's all gone Americanised, a load of strangers have appeared, it doesn't work properly, they've taken the best things away, It's like the Beta one they did a couple of years ago, not impressed.

By unannounced I meant they didn't say last night "as from tommorrow" AB layout etc will change,besides which why can't they get it up and running (without faults) and THEN change it.
They are useless!
