Whats Kev done to Bev?

In the AA advert , I know Kev isnt the sharpest tool in the Box but even he must have noticed his wife has changed. What has happened to the original Bev?

Actress Olivia Coleman is getting lots of parts in proper programmes and stuff now, so she doesn't need to do ads anymore. Good for her (though she was great in the original Bev & Kev ad).

I think she ran off with the local Rev. whose name was Dev and they went to live in Kiev

justineo - LOL LOL!!!! I was thinking this too when I saw the new ad. Kind of takes away from the whole thing doesn't it?? I mean, what if they'd changed the Nescafe couple in the middle of the series of ads - it wouldn't be the same, would it??

Perhaps in the next ad, the original Bev will wander past in the background, Kev will waggle his finger in her general direction and say "I used to have one of those".

Or perhaps not.

Great Thread. I mentioned this at work and they all looked at me like I was from Mars. What do people do if they don't watch TV adverts???

I seem to recall that when Kev was younger, and went by the name of Stewpot in that ground breaking school docusoap Grange Hill, he had an eye for the ladies so his replacement of Bev with Bev 2 is entirely in character.

Also Volvo must be laughing cos I dont remember the name of the loan company sponsoring the ad, just the cars
