Come on girls, let's get going.
It is a BIG DEAL being without you.

She is still sounding very ill, still in lots of pain and depressed. Doctor came out and requested ambulance to take her in.
She is now on assessment ward and will be there having tests until they establish what is wrong as they really have no idea still. Not sure if concussion is still being considered, though 4 days on from that diagnosis shes no better at all.

we shall get that message to SIL. Apparently MIL did have an MRI the first night they took her in (last wednesday) but they said at that point bruising on the brain, no more.
We shall still push. Mr CRX is travelling down on Thursday to see her, he is understandably extremely worried and his sister is dealing with it all as she lives there. my other SIL is away on holiday until next week i think.

red....Ah!...you didn't tell me that.....well, "bruising " could mean either an intracerebral bleed which would certainly indicate starting treatment or a subdural, which might mean a craniotomy.
She will be monitored as to her level of consciousness, a repeat MRI if indicated and then the appropriate management.
This is excellent treatment red, so try not to worry.

Hi Sqad. Just thought I'd give you an update on my post menopausal bleed problem.
I now have two scans booked - one on Friday of this week (an internal vaginal scan) and two on 24th September (a US pelvis transabdominal and US pelvis transvaginal scan). I don't know if the transvaginal on the 24th is the same scan as the one I am having on Friday of this week. I've tried to clarify with the appointments clerks, but got nowhere with it.
I know there's nothing you can add, just wanted to fill you in (so to speak - I don't do squaddie-bashing). LOL
Red, sorry to hear about your MIL, hope things turn out well, will keep my fingers crossed. xx
