Uploading custom songs to GHWT

Finally got guitar hero: World Tour after months of waiting for some extra money, working as a barman doesnt go far, so i was just wondering if you can upload songs from a usb source to use as a custom song, as ive seen clips from films and stuff used so im assuming you can in some way?

I havent got it but I dont think so - where would all the note charts come from?
AFAIK he only way to add custom songs into GHWT is to make them yourself.

its only cos i saw a song from family put up with all the notes, unless they were really good and did all the notes themselves?
