hello

i am going back to work in a couple of weeks afterhaving maternity leave.
i am going back doing 16 hours a week, my partner does 40 hours a week. we claim as a joint application.
does anyone no if we can claim anything extra such as working tax credits etc etc

there is a form you can fill in on the tax credit website that will tell you if you are eligable to claim.

You may be earning £1mil a year for all we know, even on 16 hours a week.
You said 'we' claim as a joint application. So does that mean you're already claiming?

Anyway...it doesn't matter how many hours you work it depends on how much you earn. There's a calculator on the HMRC website which will tell how much you can claim.
