Arrested- Occasioning ABH

I was out recently, and was waiting at the bar of a club. Two men were next to me and kept elbowing me and generally being a nuance. I asked them to give me some room, which made things worse as they gave me LESS room.

This went on with me asking them twice more. I even turned my back to them so as not to make things worse. The carried on elbowing me, so I pushed back into them with my back, using as minimal force as possible- I just wanted some breathing space.

This made matters worse and they squared up to me, really close to my face with his. As there was to off them and I felt uncomfortable and threatened I pushed off with my head- again not very hard.

Unfortunately his tooth broke. The bounces grabbed me and I was arrested by the police.

There is no CCTV footage; everyone was interviewed apart from the people I was with. So at the minuet it’s my word against a bunch of peoples. My friends weren’t even interviewed to give their story.

The police interviewed me and I was still drunk, I didn’t have a solicitor present. When I woke up sober I realise I had left a lot of information out.

I'm really worried as to the outcome. I have to go back to the station in a month’s time and see what the next step is.

Should I take a solicitor with me and what is likely to happen?

This is my first offence, but it happened under provocation.
