Twin Towers

I have just been watching the documentary that was on channel 4 last night. Did anyone who was above the impact areas of both towers manage to get down safely? Would be nice to know that at least some made it to safety.

I wondered that, what a powerful film. I also wondered if they managed to evacuate all the lower parts of the buildings before they collapsed. I could not believe how people would not move away from the area.

no one escaped from the upper floors due to collapsed staircases / lifts it was horrifying to see all the people hanging out of the windows and us ( now) knowing their fate. a very powerful film indeed

Did the film happen to evidence that 9/11 was conceived, setup and executed by the American authorities? If you have not seen this evidence, please enlighten yourself and help to expose the truth.

have u thought of all the hundreds of people that would have to have been involver in a conspiracy ,you think no ones going to talk a few months later,!!!

I agree deggers - the conspiracy theory is absolute rubbish. Ok, there are few co-incidences, things to make you think.... but it would just not be possible to mastermind such a huge thing & to keep all those 'in the know' quiet for all this time.

Thanks for the responses. Your right, it was a very powerful film and still shocking. The fact remains that 9/11 could well have been orchestrated by the Bush Administration, for instance
Why was the passport of one of the bombers found in the rubble fully intact?
Why was there a defense exercise being conducted that day and when air traffic control were aware of hijacked planes fighter jets did NOT intercept when ordinarily jet fighters would intercept within minutes?
Why was only the footage of one cctv camera released from the Pentagon which clearly does NOT show a plane hitting it, and yet the Pentagon has in excess of 80 cameras?
The truth is, we will never know.

well thank god the west has a free press. have you ever seen how long and complicated it is to set up a demolition project ,weeks /months ,hundreds involved,you cant do this in secret !
look, just think if one of (if it was a set set as u think) those involved we to speak out to our free press, that would escalated and wouldd be outed in no time, how do you think the USA would look in world terms, the ,killing 3000+ of there own and European people ,for what an excuse to go to war with sadam which is turning into another Vietnam
the Muslim extremists would just fall about laughing
take time to think about this,not believing people making a pile out of conspiracy theories

I see what your saying Deggers, I agree that there is no possible way that the towers could have been a demolition job. However there are marks question marks and secrecy about the explanations of a lot of what happened that day, you must admit?

Bush and Rumsfeld made it quite clear that they would only answer certain questions at the public inquiry, and that they would only appear together.

I don't know, sometimes I think it must have been the extremists, but I saw Zeitgeist recently and that put a great deal of doubt in my mind.

i agree to a certain extent there are things that make you think. but the bottom line is that if it came out (and again it would in time if it had been set up) America would loose total credibility after all it stands for possibly for ever, not least with the people it represents and the huge backlash from the relatives of people lost

I'm part of the 9/11 research community and all we are asking for is a full and independent investigation into what happened that day. So are many of the families that had family members die that terrible day.

To put it into context, more was spent on the investigation of Clintons blow job than was spent on the 9/11 commission. That seems very odd to me.

Yes Dabees, that does seem odd. I think that the powers that be wont let that happen. These are some of the richest people in the world and probably the most powerful so I just can't see them ever allowing it.
