Friends? Absolutely, C! I hoped my sign-off line wishing you luck would make that clear anyway. I'm aware how easy it is for two people to be typing an answer simultaneously...and of the problem that the site has, in that it obviously must put the answers on the page one above the other.

There are two things I wish the Moderators/Editors here would do: a. Allow a star-rated answer to remain where it is on the page. Often, Answer E contains a reference to Answer D and - if Answer E is then starred - it is whisked away to the top, making a nonsense of the reference, leaving later readers to say: "What!?" b. The absolute reverse should apply to 'interesting' questions. They should be whisked to the top of their category-page each time an answer is added. If they were, they would remain accessible for much longer. By the same token, questions no-one is interested in or which have already been fully answered would quickly sink and disappear from the page.

You keep the stars, Cetti; you deserve them. What do you think of the two ideas above? [And what do you think, Mr Editor? Are these impossible dreams?]

Quizmonster: no dream is impossible but seeing them become reality is sometimes -- how shall I put this? -- well, don't hold your breath! There are, of course, as many ideas for improving the site as there are regular users...
