I am currently self employed and have recently been told that i have to take medication for the foreseeable future.and my question is, can i claim Tax relief on my prescriptions.
My point is, that without my being in good health, then my business will not exist. Does anyone know if i am right or wrong to put my medication down as a business expense??
Thanks to anyone who responds.

Check with your pharmacist. You may find that this will be cheaper. Also at the end of the 3rd month get enough medication to last a month and start your next season ticket at the beginning of the 4th month.
You can get a "pre-paid" prescription "card" for 3 or 12 months.

I take tablets for high blood pressure and have been told that I will have to take them for the rest of my life. Does this mean that I should get free prescriptions?
At the moment I pay for one year's prescriptions pre-paid, this means that I can get as many items as I need for a monthly charge of about £10.
