I would like to put a 'signature' on Thunderbird email server but I have copied it from Word and it doesn't show up properly.

Where can I copy my signature from so that it shows up ok.

Thunderbird help http://kb.mozillazine.org/Signatures_%28Thunderbird%29 says either plain text or HTML.
Sorry the link didn't come out proplerly - you can get to it through the help and simply search for 'signatures'.
just paste it into notepad (start > accessories > notepad) then copy it again from notepad and it will be fine.

notepad is a simple text editor so pasting it and copying it again will remove any strange formatting
