Whitby is within driving distance for me, whereas Blackpool is thousands of miles away; therefore, I choose Whitby.

My vote is definitely for Blackpool.

That, of course, assumes that you're seeking a site to test a nuclear bomb!

Whitby, North Yorkshire is absolutely beautiful, Sachs. I'm only about an hour away, by car.
You're very lucky judge!
Whitby....less exciting but also less sleaze.lol

less sleaze daffy? it depends which pubs you go in! lol
Whitby - hubby n i spent a holiday touring yorkshire a few years ago and as well as peching our way up the 300 and odd steps up to the cathedral we had the most amazing fish n chips in a small cafe near the pier- it was wonderful xx
Whitby every time,
Although a long way from me(East Sussex) Whitby has charm and character.
I went to Blackpool once(and ONLY once) and never want to go again, than you!
