There should be a time period specified in rolling lease. If it's a 3 month rolling lease it will be reviewed every 3 months and the landlord will decide whether to extend it for another 3 months. That's my understanding but I'm not an expert in this area- buildersmate, barmaid or buenchico or others may have a more informed view.
