thanks for your help

they have them in stock for £108.00 + vat

which sounds ok

but i have had a price to fit it of £700.00

which sounds dear

i know its a big ish job any one had one done recently
Yeah so 130 by the time you add vat and delivery.

Cluches can be very variable in the work required depending on the car.
With many cars possibly including yours the entire engine has to be disconnected
and removed to replace the clutch.

Generally with luxury and prestige cars you wanted cheap maintenance
isn't a main design criteria.

Check with your mechanic about other components like slave cylinders for the clutch
or main seals that are accessible when the engine's out and only cost a small amount
to replace at the same time but if the engine has to come out again it's a real pain.

Personally I'd definately do the slave at the same time
