Disable AVG

I want to run the free kaspersky online scanner , just to check my laptop . I need to disable AVG free for it to run properly . Can someone tell me how pls ?

Cannot advise how to run Kaspersky online scanner with AVG loaded because it will conflict. Why don't you just use AVG scanner, mine works fine - it is also free and no hassle.

I've used the AVG scan , Kaspersky claims to find nasties that others may miss .Just wanted to give it a try .

Just tried it myself, right clicked avg in tray at bottom - exit. Kaspersky is scanning now.

I did that but if you go to the security center in control panel under malware protection iit says' AVG ..is up to date & virus scanning is on'
