lol @ boo and peri - yes, wonder if it was same person? if I remember rightly it was the "boy"friend of the mum of the guy my brother worked with (now is that right?) but cant remember if her was a londoner, may well have been... we had a pub at the time, and often had people from all over staying with us!
Egg is also a great binder in the mix for oats pancakes. Recipe on request. I'm expecting a tsunami of replies here.
