Basically the 5-day Test version of the game (the only one that matters imho) and the one-day hit and giggle versions are two completely different things. Both teams pick horses for courses and its shown that England are on a par & slightly better than Australia at Test Match cricket at the moment, but England are hopeless in the 50 over game
