best place abroad for kids?
i am SO excited! My gorgeous mum in law has said they\'ll give us £2000 for a holiday abroad next year.
Thing is, we don\'t know where to go. We went to lloret de mar about 8 years ago, when we only had one child and i hated it. It was full of stags and hens and very noisy - it felt like butlins!
we would like to fly from blackpool ideally, which limits our destinations.
Do the brochures tell the truth? Does family friendly mean just that or do they mean rowdy? Is benidorm like it is on the telly?
Is it best to trust a travel agent or book ourselves?
HELP!

Hi crisgal, how about Mallorca there's plenty of choice and many family friendly places. There are only a couple of towns that really get stag/hen parties and they are Magaluff and Santa Ponsa, but even then I have been to them and not seen any. There is plenty to do on Mallorca for the adults, children and some great beaches. Take a look at these sites.
