What does my dentist mean?
5 Answers
When doing my check-up, my dentist says the number of the tooth and the word "occlusion" or "occlusal". What does he mean? I don't need any treatment apart from a polish but I'm just cuirious. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Sara. Ifound a few definitions like this but couldn't relate that to what my dentist actually meant while he was doing my check-up. Is he just saying my biting surface is ok or that there is a specific issue (not treatable) which needs to be on my record. I should have asked him while I was there I suppose, but I just like to get out as quick as poss...!
