I use IE8 and couldn't post questions either but The solution that worked for me was to log out of Answerbank then clear all cookies/record of sites visited etc. This may be what you ahve tried but have you cleared everything? On IE8 use Tools, Internet Options, Delete, then tick all the relevant boxes (temp internet files, cookies, history, etc) and press Delete. Then when you next try to go into AB you'll be asked to sign in. Should work fine then. Have another go.
