If you were interested in working in a Greek island or village, what job would you prefer doing?

Hi,

I am from Greece but studying career guidance in UK. I am interested in creating seasonal work partnerships between Greek island employers and British interested in seasonal work in Greek islands. From tourism marketing to camp staff.

For whoever that has travelled in Greece or would like to travell and perhaps work in Greece, what kind of job would you like to do? What made the best and the worst impression concerning employer/employee attitudes in Greece?

I spent 2 summers working in Crete in '95 and '96.  I found bar work and waitressing work.  The good thing about this type of work is that is generally night time work - so you get all day to explore and sunbathe!

The only bad incident was when a local refused to pay my friend for 3 weeks of work.  I managed to change his mind!
