Looking at last nights news as we all may have seen, another young lads life's decimated by the war in Afghanistan! do you think that fits the the future of this young soldiers life who after all had the BALLS to go into the army & do his bit in comparison to the Dick heads that go and MUG OAP's, Knife people to death, steal cars, pedos & all you can think of? do you think that conscription should be fetched back? or our we asking a lot of the poor little Dick heads? I think this a fair Q! some fair answers would be a bonus knowing this site!!

I definitely do think conscription should be bought back for these dick heads, i think the crime figures would then drop by a fair degree. And if parents, school teachers and civil law can't control these dick heads then why not let a Sargent major ( preferably a provost Sargent major ) have ago.

I do remeber the 50s Vibrarashere, If you look back at the new papers of that era you will not find the attitude of the Youth of that era! Why, Schools had canes, you had a crack off the coppers, then your parents, then you stopped in for a week with no telly, Murders, mayby one or two a week & it was a talking point, Just look at the papers today, I was in a local hospital with a service user I work with yesterday, I asked the Nurses how you go on here on a Sat night with the PISS HEADS, need I say anymore?

Much as I think that something like that is a good idea, I also think that they men and women who CHOSE to join up to serve in the armed forces would like someone beside them who is committed to their comrades and is a damn safe pair of hands. If I were going into battle, I wouldn't want some 17 year old chav who hates being there and is doing his damdest to get out of there behind me, I'd want a committed soldier!!!!
