Have you ever tried googling someones answer to a question and find it comes up word for word from another site. It's quite good fun. Do you ever google for an answer, copy and paste and then pretend it was all your own work?
I don't personally, LoftyLottie ! If I am able to help someone with their problems especially in Electronics Section (TV'S) it is through my own working experience gained from the Companies I have worked for. Computer Technology is not my Forte so I leave that up to the Computer Geeks.
Me too Redman. I might post a link to an answer that I google, but I do not claim to be the author! I make mistakes but at least they are all my own mistakes.
LOL. The cavalier lopping of the cut-and-paste job is a nice touch.
And Lottie, it is hardly worth pretending ANYTHING on the web was all your own work! But youre right; there have been some pathetic pieces of plagiarism on here. Let's agree to either paste the link or edit the copy.
If I ever copy and paste an answer here from another site I usually also paste a link to the site I copied from so that people can read the whole article for themselves. Many of the answers to questions people ask here could be gotten themselves via Google.
everyone would know if I was cheating...it wouldn't be written with a Nottingham accent & the grammar would be correct :o)
If I can't explain something clearly enough, usually in gardening, I post a link. When someone asks 'what's this song?' I sometimes google the lyrics they've given to find the answer for them...is that cheating?
