Food will be served differently according to which route you take, and on which airline. Sleep whenever you can - people usually recommend that you go on to destination time as soon as possible, which would mean sleeping for the eight hours or so before landing, whichever direction you go in (take ear plugs and an eye mask... plus gin and temazepam) - remembering you'll probably get your last meal one to two hours before landing, so calculate the eight hours before that. It'll probably take you a week or so to get completely over the jetlag, but you should be functioning reasonably after a couple of days.
PS One or two ther tips:~
You may get another meal(see above) it depends on the schedule.
DO NOT,(If possible) drink acohol,it dehydrates you.
If you remove your shoes, your feet will swell up,so try and keep you shoes on.
Get up and walk about, this helps circulation of the blood, and prevents blood clots.
Above all have a Great Time!
