bees

I have had a bee box on the wall, the one with the canes in, for two years now. Almost all of the canes have been blocked off, by the bees presumedly, so what happens now, or what should have happened?
Can anyone tell me, please?

Yes, woofgang, I have seen them going in and out all summer

then Its working! you just leave it there. Bees will overwinter in it, not all will survive and you will see them come out again in the spring

Oh wish mine would work, its just the same as the day I bought it (last year), the bees arent interested :-(
