spilt drink on iphone can i get it repaired?

Hi there,
Have a friend who has an iphone and she took it out the other night and her friend spilt vodka and orange on it.
She says picture looks wonky on it and not working.
She has no insurance on it just pays the monthly contract.
Does anyone know if it will dry out and be okay or if she gets it fixed how much it will cost?
Any advice I would be very grateful.
She is distraught.

She could try leaving it in the hot press or someplace warm to help dry it out

Try this: put the phone in a bag of uncooked rice for a couple of days... the rice draws out moisture...
