just forget me already!

Why do I have to keep telling AnswerBank NOT to remember me on this computer, when signing in? Should be the other way around by default, i.e. if I wanted to be remembered I'd ask for it. It's annoying, Ed, please. (I HAVE cleared my cache.)

I cleared my cache and my saved form and search history and my browsing history but not my cookies - would cookies have made the difference, factor? I wouldn't have thought so, but I don't understand about computers so you or anyone else is more than welcome to educate me :)
The problem, though, isn't that I'm not asked to log in - I am. What bugs me is that every single time I log in I have to untick the box which by default is already ticked. That is to say: If I don't wish to be remembered, I have to untick it again and again. And again. And then some. Which does get a bit annoying in combination with the fact that I get thrown out over and over and over again, typically when I've been writing a reply and try to submit it. So the procedure is, I sign in and untick, write a reply, get thrown out, sign in and untick - and so on. (Getting thrown out is of course the bigger problem, but it's already been mentioned by so many others that I decided not to focus on it in this post.)
