any explanation for tremor last night - this could be a silly Q but would it have been felt from the tsunamis

Thx for the link, dris. She makes it clear there that my more lurid images of the earth moving for her were inappropriate. So I guessed she was on hol in Valencia, and just not used to little local earthquakes.
Non-news, you see, NoM, as in the classic non-headldine "Small earthquake in X. Nobody imjured".
My guess seems to be confirmed by the proximity of (presumably) hotel balconies: "I expected to see people out on their balconies, but there's no sign of anyone."
And you even say youve never experienced one before and have nothing to compare it to.
I have lived in Japan... The thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to... One long period of gunpatsu jishin - Almost uninterrupted shaking for months on end. And we were there bang over the epicentre of the great Kobe earthquake. Lived in the car for 3 days. Couldnt get out because all roads busted and ferry harbour smashed up. Even after we came back to UK, the whole family was terrorized by so much as a lorry going past!
