Gobstoppers ..

can you still buy them or are they banned because of H&S as i've
not seen them in ages .

you can still get them. We had a trip to the trafford centre at weekend and my kids got a massive one each from the pick and mix at selfridges. They were so excited!

We told them they couldn't eat them in the car and spent the entire journey home saying, "you're not eating them are you? Are you sure you're not eating them? You might choke and there's nothing we could do about it in the car. Please don't put the whole thing in your mouth will you? hold it and lick it - don't shove it all in. If it gets stuck in your throat we might not be able to get it out"

They are both in the fridge now - I think we've frightened them to death!

er.. that's the gobstoppers in the fridge - not the kids!! LOL

crisgal thanks for that , we used to have an old fashioned sweet shop in the town
and you could buy all the unwrapped sweets , my dentist loved it !!
