Orange Network coverage!!!

Is anyone having problems with Orange Mobile network Coverage in the East of England area? Ive had ''no netw. coveragge'' on my display all day......Just got off the phone with them and it seems that they have lost the contracts on two of the masts in this area (my phone isnt working in Colchester, Frinton or Chelmsford) and their response is that they may not be able to lease them again, so basically, for the forseeable future Orange mobile customers in this area are having their mobiles renderred totally useless!!! Is there anyone out there in these areas who's network coverage has not been effected?

Hi Kinks123,

I used to be on an Orange contract and the coverage was awful. I could not use my phone in the house and had to go up out of our road to get any signal for texts and calls which was frustrating. I called Orange on numerous occasions to complain and never really got an answer except one of the masts was down. This went on for some time and I gave up in the end and terminated at the end of my contract with them. I beleive in contracts if you are in one with them that one part stipulates if they cannot provide coverage or services then termination without charges could be an option.

I am now with Vodafone and very happy. Excellent coverage everywhere I have been. I would recommend them.
