My home PC has no CD writer. My lap top does. How can I transfer photos, music, presentations to my lap top then burn to CD. What leads and or software do I need?

The best is an ethernet connection. You require ethernet cards for your PC and laptop (often they are built in; especially modern one with CD burners) and a CAT5 crossover cable. No software (except ethernet card drivers) is required as you will use TCP/IP as the network protocol.

.....be careful with the cable, a well known PC shop still hasn't got a clue what a crossover is and will happily sell you the wrong one!
