Removal of Ford Ka Bumpers

I have an 03 registered Ford Ka and I plan to add some Escort RS Turbo Arches. I am aware this will need a lot of fettling to get it to fit right but i'm ready for it. My problem is though, despite having removed all the washers the front and rear bumpers won't come off. Me and a mate have tried everything, pulling, pushing but t nothing. I don't won't to break the bumpers. Is there anyone who can help me please?!!

there might be 2 screws on either side of the bumper in the wheel arches. this was the case on my fiesta, so you never know.
