hi im nearly 48.i had 2 children in my 40.s and after my last one jan 08 i didnt come back on for 1 yr.since then i have had 6 monthlys and now they have stopped ,i did speak to the doctor and she said sometimes when you have babies late in life this could happen.has this happened to any one else like this?

Going through the change isn't just your periods stopping, there are lots of symptoms, if you aren't having any it may be your body adjusting after your pregnancy. Menopause is called menopause when periods have ceased for a full year.
