an aquaintance of mine was found dead in her flat by my ex husband,she had died the previous day,only SIX people turned up for her funeral,so sad,she was about 76.i could'nt go ,no transport or driver

Well, that\'s cheered me up no end!............I\'m sorry for the loss of your friend, slinks.
Thats horrible when there\'s not many at the funeral, but maybe she liked it better that way.

That is quite sad. I do think there won't be many more at my funeral though.My fiance,my 3 children,my stepson and my grandchildren and maybe a couple of friends.Possibly 10-12 people in total.

It was the same at my Godmothers funeral but she chose to live her life in a very solitary was so there was only our family at the funeral. She was my mothers 'best' friend and had no remaining relatives and she left a quarter of a million to charity. Ah well
