19 and pregnant

I have only been dating my boyfriend for about 5 months. We are both active military with insurance and a stable income. We are planning to have his parents move in with us and if we pay rent they will take care of the child while we are at work. Im so scared and nervous to tell any of my family because my dad is religious and i am the youngest and they are so proud of me right now. Also because we havent been dating long at all. . Im still training in my job and this will put a lot of things on hold and they will not appreciate that. What should I do? Should I be scared?

When your baby comes along, take off as much time as you're allowed, so that you can bond with him or her.
I know a couple who're in the military police, and they faced a similar dilemma. However, they eventually married and now have two lovely children - and still manage to hold onto their careers. It won't be easy, but at least you have the offer of help from your bf's parents. Best of luck.

I was in my 30s and still terrified of what my parents would say. But i just blurted it out to my mum and waited for the fall out. Do you know what she did? She cried with happiness!
Being scared is natural, we all want the aprroval of our parents. They are going to find out at some point, you cant hide it.
Good luck
