Do-Re-Mi, not Me!
Smudge fantastic that really made me smile. Do you remember on that's life years ago they used dance in supermarkets. My kids are always trying to stop me dancing like that - I would have been straight in there
That happens here at Brighton station every day!.........................must be something in the sea air! :0)

Nice one, smudge
Excellent :-)

Thank you all - glad you enjoyed the video. One of my friends sent it to me this morning & it really warmed my cockles - they need warming too, it's freezing here!

peri - yes, I remember 'That's Life'! My eldest grandadaughter looks mortified if I start singing or jiggling about to the music in supermarkets - it cramps her style, lol.

TheEqualizer - we as a family love days out to Brighton & really envy you living there!

daffy, alba & Bobbi - it makes a pleasant change to watch video's like that, 'specially when there's so much doom & gloom in the news!

Happy days! ;o}
Thanks, that cheered me up no end. I can remember singing and skipping down the road on many occasions. and my son refusing to own me, Smudge. I'm always game for a song and a dance - well except at the moment. I have sciatica and managed to fall over yesterday and damage my rib(s).

Nice video. Why can't life be like this?
Question Author
Oh dear Lottie, I hope you're not in too much pain! Sciatica's bad enough, but falling over really does shake you up! I hope you've managed to find some good painkillers & been able to rest up.

I fell over coming out of a mini Tesco petrol station last year - I wouldn't mind, but there wasn't even a doorstep, it was a flat surface! I twisted my ankle & fell full blast onto by ribs & boobs! I felt such a wally, but two delightful young lads helped me up & gathered the bits & bobs that had fallen out of my bag!

I know what you mean about your son (sort of) disowning you when you're singing, we've all done it! lol.

I'm glad we all agree it's a jolly video & has given us a smile today! ;o}

P.S. Hope you feel better soon Lottie. -xx-
Thank you Smudge. I decided that the sciatica might ease if I loosened up and had a short walk with the dog. (It is worse sitting down). Anyway, when I got to the top of the field behind my house my leg gave way and I ended up flat out on my side and the ground here is rock solid - we have had so little rain. I was more worried about letting go of the dog's lead because she is a terror for chasing rabbits and running away!! Noone around to see me and I must admit to staying on the ground for a while to get over the shock. I fell on my right hand side and goodness knows what I have done to my ribs but they hurt. I bet I looked funny.
oh LL, get to A&E if ribs hurt. Nasty things is sciatica. Fortunately only had it when pregnant with 1st son.
Crippling. take care
Have had sciatica on and off for years alba. I had it when I was pregnant too. I have all sorts of back problems. The trouble with ribs is, whether they are bruised or cracked, the doctors tend to do nothing and I can't face A&E. I am just hoping it will just sort itself out.
get the occasional twinge of sciatica still tho I can understand how you feel about A&E. Nothing seems to get done about ribs these days, painkillers and take it easy seems to be the answer.
Hope you feel better soon.

alba - When I fell over, the pain in my ribs/boobs killed me, I could hardly breathe. My ankle was black/blue & gradually became very swollen, I just couldn't walk on it. My husband took me to A&E, but fortunately was only a bad sprain & they strapped it up. The consultant said they don't do much with cracked/sore ribs - they apparently get better on their own.

Hope yours do soon too Lottie.
