What was the original name of the first Motorway service station on the M1 that you came to when leaving London?

It is the one now name "London Gateway"

Don't know if it's changed it's name, but do you mean Scratchwood?

Yes, the Scratchwood services changed the name to London Gateway.  A little bit of useless information - HMS Belfast is on the Thames near the Tower of London, and her guns are trained on that place.  (Just to demonstrate the range - there's nothing up the spout!)
